Course Add Codes

Students must enroll in the course by going to MyGateway. If the course is closed, add codes will not be given out, students must petition the class (see below).

How to Petition A Class

If the course consists of both lecture and lab, students need to attend the first lab meeting. If a registered student does not attend the first day the lab meets, they will be dropped and their seat will be made available to petitioning students. Petitioning students will then be added based on a lottery system until all available seats have been filled (number of available seats depends on the number of no-shows on that first day).

Registration Suggestions

Some students drop the class before the semester even begins, which opens up a new space and its made available right away. One suggestion would be to keep looking at MyGateway to see if anyone drops. Be sure to add as soon as a space opens up.
